Scope
This document specifies the types, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of scraper conveyors.
This document is applicable to scraper conveyors used for transporting bulk materials.
This document is not applicable to scraper conveyors used for transporting the following bulk materials:
a) Highly corrosive materials;
b) Materials with a bulk density greater than 1.8 t/m3;
c) Materials with special physical properties such as adhesion, cohesion, entanglement, and agglomeration.
