GB/T 16507.4-2022 Water-tube boilers—Part 4:Strength calculation of pressure parts

Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements for the strength calculation of pressure-bearing components of water-tube boilers, including allowable stress, calculation of wall temperature, calculation of pressure, attenuation coefficient, component thickness, calculated thickness, opening reinforcement, thickness additive, design calculation method of maximum allowable pressure, additional stress check, and structural restrictions and requirements. It also stipulates the test and finite element analysis verification methods for determining the maximum allowable working pressure of components.
This document is applicable to pressure-bearing components defined in GB/T 16507.1, including boiler drums, start-up (steam-water) separator drums, header drums, pipes, pipelines, elbow pipes, elbow fittings, arc-shaped header drums, convex heads, flat end covers and plates, and three-way fittings, etc.
