Scope

1.1 This document specifies the general technical requirements for water-tube boilers in terms of scope definition, boiler parameters, construction standards, and energy conservation and environmental protection.
1.2 This document applies to fixed water-tube boilers in the following ranges:
a) Steam boilers with a rated steam pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa;
b) Hot water boilers with a rated outlet pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa and a rated thermal power greater than or equal to 0.1 MW;
c) Flue gas waste heat boilers primarily used for waste (exhaust) heat utilization.
1.3 This document does not apply to water-tube boilers in the following ranges:
a) Mobile water-tube boilers;
b) Cooling devices required to meet equipment and process requirements.
1.4 Fixed water-tube boilers with a rated pressure less than 0.1 MPa may refer to this document.
