Scope
This standard specifies the method outline, reagents and materials, instruments, sampling, determination steps, result calculation, precision, and test report for determining hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide, methanethiol, and methyl mercaptan in coal-based synthesis gas using a gas chromatograph with a flame photometric detector (FPD). This standard is applicable to the determination of hydrogen sulfide concentrations of not less than 0.08 mg/m3, carbonyl sulfide concentrations of not less than 0.12 mg/m3, methanethiol concentrations of not less than 0.08 mg/m3, and methyl mercaptan concentrations of not less than 0.07 mg/m3 in coal-based synthesis gas.
