Scope

This part of GB/T 14454 specifies the methods for determining the freezing point of fragrances, determining the content of safrole in fragrances by the freezing point method, and determining the content of eucalyptol in fragrances by the o-cresol freezing point method. This part is applicable to the determination of the freezing point of fragrances, and also to the determination of the safrole content in essential oils and single-isolate fragrances with a safrole content of more than 69%, and the determination of the eucalyptol content in essential oils and single-isolate fragrances with a eucalyptol content of more than 45.6%.
