Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for Class 8 forged or welded steel main rings, intermediate main rings, main ring assemblies, and lower end rings with a maximum working load of not more than 132 t. These connecting rings are used in conjunction with the following rigging equipment to lift heavy objects, materials, or goods:
——Hanging chains specified in GB/T 20652 and GB/T 25853;
——Steel wire rope slings specified in GB/T 16762;
——Synthetic fiber slings specified in EN 14921 and EN 14922.
This standard does not apply to hand-forged connecting rings.
