Scope
This standard specifies the performance test methods for automotive diesel engine fuel filters (referred to as filters), so that the laboratory performance test results of the filters are comparable.
This standard applies to automotive diesel engine fuel filters with a rated volume flow (or nominal volume flow) of less than 200 L/h. For filters with a rated volume flow greater than 200 L/h, they can be used as a reference.
