GB/T 1786-2008 Forging tortillas ultrasonic testing method

Scope

This standard specifies the scope of application, testing personnel, testing instruments and equipment, comparison specimens, testing conditions and procedures, defect evaluation, quality assurance provisions, and testing reports for the ultrasonic inspection of forged discs (hereinafter referred to as discs) using flat-bottomed hole comparison specimens by ultrasonic water immersion or contact methods. This standard applies to the ultrasonic inspection of defects in high-temperature alloys and alloy steel discs with a cross-sectional thickness of not less than 8 mm. The ultrasonic inspection of discs for other purposes may be used as a reference after consultation between the supplier and the buyer.
