GB/T 5275.8-2014 Gas analysis—Preparation of calibration gas mixtures using dynamic volumetric methods—Part 8:Diffusion method
Basic Information
Scope
This section specifies the dynamic method for preparing calibration gas mixtures with a molar fraction in the range of 10-9 to 10-3. The relative expanded uncertainty of this method, U, which does not exceed ±2%, is obtained by multiplying the synthetic standard uncertainty by the inclusion factor (k=2).
If the pipeline between the diffusion source and the use location is short, the diffusion method can be used to prepare low-concentration calibration gas mixtures of liquid organic components at room temperature with a boiling point in the range of 40°C to 160°C.
The diffusion method specified in this section is not only suitable for preparing calibration gas mixtures of various hydrocarbons with concentrations comparable to those in the atmospheric environment and indoor air, but also for preparing low-concentration water gas mixtures.
