GB/T 5275.2-2014 Gas analysis—Preparation of calibration gas mixtures using dynamic volumetric methods—Part 2:Volumetric pumps
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 5275 specifies the method of continuously generating calibration gas mixtures using volume pumps. This method prepares calibration gas mixtures containing two or more components using pure gases or gas mixtures through multi-piston volume pumps. This pump can be used to prepare gas mixtures with a gas-phase component volume fraction range of more than 0.1% in balance gas. The measured relative expanded uncertainty U is obtained by multiplying the relative synthesized uncertainty by the inclusion factor k=2, and its value does not exceed 0.5%.
Multiple volume pumps operating in series can obtain lower concentration gas mixtures. The minimum concentration that can be prepared by a series of two volume pumps is 10-6. Moreover, using premixed gas instead of pure gas to prepare gas mixtures can also obtain lower concentration gas mixtures. The results and uncertainty calculations are described in Appendix A.
The advantages of this method are that it can continuously prepare a large number of gas mixtures and prepare multi-component gas mixtures.
