Scope

This part of GB/T 5275 specifies a method for preparing calibration gas mixtures by generating calibration components using electrochemical methods and introducing them into the carrier gas stream. By changing the gas flow rate or the electric charge passing through the electrolytic cell, the composition of the mixed gas can be modified. The relative expanded uncertainty of the calibration gas mixture content, U, is obtained by multiplying the relative synthetic standard uncertainty by the inclusion factor k=2, and its value is no greater than 5%.
The preparation method specified in this part is mainly used to prepare calibration gas mixtures with a volume fraction range of 0.1×10-6 to 250×10-6.
