Scope
This document specifies the principles of ultrasonic local discharge detection, the requirements for detection instruments, the detection cycle, the detection methods, and the basis for judging equipment defects, and standardizes the work of ultrasonic local discharge detection and diagnosis. This document is applicable to gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as GIS equipment) with a voltage of 110 kV (66 kV) and above. HGIS/tank-type circuit breakers can refer to and implement it accordingly.
