Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, specifications and markings, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) elastic filament yarns.
This standard applies to uncolored polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) elastic filament yarns with a round cross-section and a total linear density of 22dtex to 340dtex, and a single filament linear density of 1.0dtex to 5.6dtex. Other types of PBT elastic filament yarns can be used as reference.
