GB/T 2423.58-2008 Environmental testing for electric and electronic products—Part 2:Tests methods—Test Fi:Vibration—Mixed Mode
Basic Information
Scope
The test methods provided in this section are suitable for samples that need to withstand simulated complex and mixed excitation vibration tests. The purpose of this section is to verify that the samples will not experience unacceptable functional and/or structural degradation after being subjected to specified mixed-mode excitation. When the vibration measurement data in the actual environment has a mixed-mode pattern, it is particularly suitable to tailor the vibration environment using this method. This section is also applicable to revealing the cumulative effects of random and sinusoidal and/or random mixed vibration stresses, as well as the resulting mechanical defects and degradation of specified performance of the samples. In combination with relevant standards, this information can be used to evaluate the acceptability of the samples. In some cases, this test method is also suitable for verifying the mechanical strength of the samples.
