Scope
This part of GB/T 17934 aims to provide detailed descriptions of the process parameters and their values applied in flexographic four-color printing for packaging and publishing. These parameters and values were selected taking into account the entire printing process, covering color separation, output of color separation film, plate making, proofing, printing, and surface finishing. This part is applicable to printing on white substrates or plastic films that have already been coated with a white layer. This part can be applied to: —— Products printed by flexographic printing, such as labels, paper boxes, corrugated boxes, and flexible packaging; —— Publications printed by flexographic printing, such as books, product samples, and commercial printing products; —— Proofing processes that simulate the color effects of flexographic printed products, including screen-based and continuous-tone proofing methods.
