Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking and quality certificates, packaging, transportation, and storage for blended fertilizers (BB fertilizers). This standard applies to blended fertilizers (BB fertilizers) made by dry mixing methods, which contain at least two declared nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium), and to slow-release and controlled-release blended fertilizers. This standard also applies to compound fertilizers made by dry mixing nitrogen and/or phosphorus and/or potassium fertilizer granules. This standard does not apply to products that only dry mix organic granules and/or biological agents granules and/or trace elements granules on the basis of compound fertilizers.
