Scope

This document, in accordance with ISO 188282, specifies the information flow determined by various planning guidelines in the production plan. The scope of this document includes: -- An overall overview of the main information flows within the reference planning process; -- Basic models used to describe the main information flows; -- A detailed description of each main information flow; -- The state marking structure of the main information flow objects; -- A detailed description of the state of each information object; -- A checklist for benchmarking information objects. The scope of this document does not include: -- Information flows entering cross-functional areas, including high-level planning; -- Various data models used for production planning; -- A complete description of all potential information flows/information objects within the production planning scope; -- Various workflow engines suitable for automated production planning; -- Production facility planning/manufacturing facility planning (physical plants and equipment), including any type of resources not directly related to the manufacturing process; -- Industrial value chains (inbound logistics, operational management, outbound logistics, marketing, and sales); -- Process simulation/safety assurance; -- Investment planning during production process management.
