Scope

This part of GB/T 14208 specifies the determination of the apparent interlaminar shear strength of round-section untwisted roving reinforced resin rods (hereinafter referred to as rods). The samples are either the original rods (unprocessed) or rods that have been processed in boiling water (or other media) for a certain period of time.
This part is applicable to the inspection and quality control of untwisted glass fiber rovings, and the evaluation of the compatibility between untwisted glass fiber rovings and resin systems. The test results cannot be used as design data.
