Scope

This part of GB/T 14208 specifies the determination of the compression strength of resin-reinforced rods with a circular cross-section (hereinafter referred to as rods). The samples are either original rods (unprocessed) or rods that have been treated in boiling water (or other media) for a certain period of time.
This part is applicable to the inspection and quality control of glass fiber unidirectional rovings, and to the evaluation of the compatibility between glass fiber unidirectional rovings and resin systems. The test results cannot be used as design data.
