Scope

This part of GB/T 14208 specifies the determination of the flexural strength of unidirectional roving-reinforced resin rods (hereinafter referred to as rods). The specimens are either the original rods (untreated) or rods that have been treated in boiling water (or other media) for a certain period of time.
This part is applicable to the inspection and quality control of unidirectional glass fiber rovings, and the evaluation of the compatibility between unidirectional glass fiber rovings and resin systems. The test results cannot be used as design data.
