Scope
This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of sodium diacetate in food.
This standard is applicable to the determination of sodium diacetate in foods such as dried tofu, reprocessed dried tofu, pastries, pre-cooked meat products, cooked meat products, seasonings, compound seasonings, and fried snacks (only fried potato chips); it is not applicable to the determination of vinegar.
The method's detection limit in this standard is 0.015 g/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.05 g/kg.
