Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, ordering content, classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, quality certificates, transportation, and storage of special-shaped tubes used in high-efficiency heat exchangers. This standard applies to corrugated tubes, inner corrugated outer threaded tubes, T-groove tubes, channel tubes, and spiral flat tubes made of high-quality carbon structural steel, austenitic stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel and nickel alloys, titanium and titanium alloys, zirconium and zirconium alloys, copper and copper alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, and nickel-copper alloys (hereinafter referred to as "special-shaped tubes") used in high-efficiency heat exchangers.
