Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of calcium silicate insulation products. This standard applies to calcium silicate insulation products used in various types of equipment, kilns, pipelines, and their accessories with a hot surface temperature not exceeding 1,000 ℃. Note: If calcium silicate insulation products are used at temperatures below the ambient temperature, it is recommended to take special measures.
