Scope

This standard specifies the method of measuring the sound pressure level of power capacitor units, and uses this method to determine the sound power level of power capacitor units.
This standard applies to parallel capacitor units, AC filter capacitor units, and DC filter capacitor units used in AC power systems with a nominal voltage of 1 kV or higher and a frequency of 50 Hz. Other power capacitor units can refer to this standard for implementation.
