Scope

This document describes the method of measuring the sound pressure level of power capacitor units and uses this method to determine the sound power level of power capacitor units. This document is applicable to parallel capacitor units, AC filter capacitor units, and DC filter capacitor units used in AC power systems with a nominal voltage of 1,000 V and above and a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Other power capacitor units can refer to and implement this document. This document is not applicable to capacitors with a body height of less than 0.8 m.
