Scope
This document describes the laboratory method for determining the dust emission rate during arc welding and collecting samples for subsequent analysis, and specifies the requirements for instruments and equipment, materials, test procedures, data processing, and test reports. This document is applicable to the determination of the dust emission rate in all arc welding processes except tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding.
