Scope
This document describes a laboratory method for measuring the ozone emission rate during arc welding, specifying the instruments, materials, test procedures, data processing, and test reports. This document is applicable to gas-shielded arc welding, as well as laboratory methods for measuring the ozone emission rate generated during processes such as flux-cored wire self-shielded arc welding, which can be welded automatically under a fume hood.
