Scope
This standard specifies the sampling methods and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry confirmation methods for the detection of residues of beta-adrenergic agonists in veterinary drugs. This standard is applicable to the determination of the residue levels of eight beta-adrenergic agonists, including clenbuterol, salbutamol, terbutaline, tebutaline, fenoterol, formoterol, ractopamine, and ipratropium bromide, in animal-derived foods such as pork, pork liver, and pork kidneys, as well as in pork urine, using high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry.
