Scope

This standard specifies the method of measuring the resistivity of zone-melted germanium ingots using the direct current two-probe method. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the resistivity of primary zone-melted germanium ingots produced by trapezoidal boats as specified in GB/T 11071 "Zone-Melted Germanium Ingots", with a resistivity measurement range of 0.1 Ω·cm to 100 Ω·cm. This standard requires that the cross-sectional area of the portion of the zone-melted germanium ingot being measured vary linearly along the length of the ingot, and the length of the ingot must be more than three times the maximum size of the cross-section and the probe spacing.
