Scope

This part specifies the test method for the dielectric constant of pyroelectric ceramics, crystals, and organic materials in the range of 100 Hz to 100 kHz. This part is applicable to measuring the dielectric constant of pyroelectric ceramic materials such as lead titanate, lead zirconate titanate, strontium barium titanate, and lead tantalate scandate, as well as pyroelectric crystal materials such as lead niobate, lithium tantalate, and triglycine sulfate family. It is also applicable to measuring the dielectric constant of other similar ceramics, crystals, and organic pyroelectric materials.
