Scope

The emission requirements specified in this part of GB 17799 apply to electrical and electronic equipment used in the following industrial environments.
The frequency range applicable to this part is 0 Hz to 400 GHz. There is no need to measure in frequency bands not specified in the standard.
If there are no relevant product or product category electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission standards, the general EMC emission standards in this part apply.
This part applies to equipment connected to high-voltage or medium-voltage transformer-supplied power grids, where those transformers only supply power to facilities in manufacturing plants or similar factories. This part also applies to battery-powered equipment that will be used in industrial environments.
The environments described in this part include indoor and outdoor environments in industrial sites.
Industrial sites are characterized by one or more of the following conditions:
——Industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM1) equipment;
——Large inductive or capacitive loads with frequent switching;
——Large currents accompanied by strong magnetic fields.
The purpose of this part is to specify the electromagnetic emission limits and measurement methods for equipment within the scope of application, whose electromagnetic emissions may interfere with other equipment. The phenomena considered involve continuous and transient, conducted and radiated disturbances.
These selected emission limits represent basic electromagnetic compatibility requirements and ensure that the disturbance levels generated by equipment operating normally in industrial sites will not interfere with the normal operation of other equipment. The failure state of the equipment is not considered. For testing purposes in this part, not all disturbance phenomena are included, but only those relevant to the equipment covered by this part are considered.
This part specifies test requirem
