GB/T 3048.5-2007 Test methods for electrical properties of electric cables and wires—Part 5:Test of insulation resistance
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 3048 specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test results and calculations, precautions, and test records for testing insulation resistance using the DC comparison method and the voltage-current method. This part is applicable to testing the insulation resistance of wires and cables, including the DC comparison method and the voltage-current method: the measurement range of the DC comparison method is (105~2×1015)Ω; the measurement range of the voltage-current method is (104~1016)Ω; the measurement voltage is generally (100~500)V. If the measured voltage and current are directly indicated as resistance by the same instrument in the voltage-current method, it can also be called the "high resistance meter method". This part should be used together with GB/T 3048.1.
