GB/T 3048.9-2007 Test methods for electrical properties of electric cables and wires—Part 9:Spark test of insulated cores
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 3048 specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test results and evaluation, and calibration of test equipment for the spark test of insulated conductors (wires) in insulated electric cables and wires. This part is applicable to inspecting the quality of the insulating layer of rubber and plastic insulated electric cables and wires, and can be used for intermediate inspections and routine tests of electric cables and wires. It is not applicable to inspecting insulated products with conductive cores made of non-conductive materials. This part includes power frequency spark test and direct current spark test. That is, the tests are conducted using power frequency spark machines and direct current spark machines. This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 3048.1.
