Scope

This part of GB/T 3048 specifies the terms and definitions of partial discharge tests, test equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, precautions, calibration of test equipment, and test records for partial discharge tests on power cables with extruded insulation of various lengths. This test method is applicable to measuring partial discharge in power cables with extruded insulation of various lengths, that is, measuring the discharge quantity of the cables under specified voltages and given sensitivities, or checking whether the discharge quantity exceeds the specified value. For general technical parameters related to partial discharge measurement, refer to IEC 60270:1981.
