Scope
This standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods for flexible hydrogel agar and alginic acid hydrogel dental impression materials, in order to determine whether they can meet the expected quality of use. It also stipulates the requirements for user manuals and labels. This standard applies to flexible hydrogel agar and alginic acid hydrogel dental impression materials. Note: This standard does not include qualitative and quantitative requirements for possible biological hazards, but it is recommended to refer to ISO 10993 and ISO 7405 when evaluating the possible biological hazards of hydrogel impression materials.
