GB/T 26548.12-2021 Hand-held portable power tools—Test methods for evaluation of vibration emission—Part 12:Die grinders
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the test method for measuring hand-transmitted vibration at the handle of a mold grinding machine, and determines the type test procedure for the size of vibration at the handle grip position when operating the machine under typical test conditions. The results obtained are used to compare the vibration levels of machines of the same type but different models.
This document is applicable to handheld machines driven by compressed air or other means, which are used for edge trimming operations on various materials such as hard steel/plastic by alloy files or grinding heads mounted on collets; it is also applicable to low-speed mold grinding machines using abrasive wheels or cylindrical grinding wheels.
Note 1: This document is not applicable to straight-shaft grinding machines equipped with Type 1 flat grinding wheels, Type 4 single bevel grinding wheels, or different types of shanked cylindrical grinding heads. Such machines are specified in GB/T 26548.4.
Note 2: This document is not applicable to mold grinding machines using steel wire brushes.
Note 3: To avoid confusion between "power tools" and "insertion tools", this document uses "machines" throughout instead of "power tools".
