GB/T 26548.8-2021 Hand-held portable power tools—Test methods for evaluation of vibration emission—Part 8:Saws,polishing and filing machines with reciprocating action and small saws with oscillating or rotating action
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the test method for measuring hand-transmitted vibration at the handle of hand-held power-driven reciprocating saws, polishers, and files, as well as swing or rotary saws. It determines the type test procedure for measuring the vibration magnitude at the handle grip position when operating the machine under specified test conditions. The results obtained are used to compare the vibration levels of machines of the same type but different models.
This document applies to reciprocating files equipped with files and polishing tools for surface finishing, which are driven by compressed air or other power sources; saws used for cutting boards, medical gypsum, or wood; saws equipped with blades suitable for cutting various materials; and small disc saws primarily used for cutting metals and composite materials (see Chapter 5).
This document does not apply to files where one hand is typically placed on the file blade, nor to large disc saws used for sawing wood.
Note: To avoid confusion between "power tools" and "insertion tools", this document consistently uses "machines" instead of "power tools" throughout the text.
