Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, functions, and configurations of station domain failure (dead zone) protection in power systems, as well as technical requirements, requirements for auxiliary equipment and secondary circuits, and testing. This document is applicable to power plants and substations with dual circuit breaker wiring configurations, such as 3/2 circuit breakers, for station domain failure (dead zone) protection.
