GB/T 11346-2018 Radiograpial testing for aluminum alloy castings—Defect levels

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for personnel conducting radiographic inspections of aluminum alloy castings (hereinafter referred to as castings), the requirements for negatives, defect grading, grade evaluation, and evaluation records.
This standard applies to the defect grading of aluminum alloy castings subjected to radiographic inspections with a penetration thickness of no more than 50 mm.
This standard does not apply to aluminum alloy die castings.
This standard does not apply to the grading of defects such as cracks, under-filling, off-center casting, cold shut, and surface irregularities.
