Scope

This document specifies the requirements for test equipment used to verify the effectiveness of residual current monitors (RCMs) installed in power distribution systems.
The test equipment can be used in any type of network, such as TN, TT, or IT systems. The test equipment can also be used to test RCMs that distinguish between directions in IT systems.
The purpose of this document is not to verify RCMs according to their product standards.
