This document specifies the requirements for measurement equipment used to test the phase sequence of three-phase distribution systems. The indication of phase sequence may be mechanical, visual, and/or auditory.
This document does not apply to additional measurements of other quantities, nor to monitoring relays.
Note: Appendix I of IEC 61010-1:2016 describes common three-phase distribution systems.
