Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass fiber reinforced bars for civil engineering applications.
This standard applies to anchoring and supporting structures of tunnels, slope walls, and foundation pits; the enclosure structures of shielding work pits; and continuous reinforced concrete pavements and bridge deck structures, among other civil engineering applications of glass fiber reinforced bars.
This standard does not apply to glass fiber reinforced bars used in pre-stressed concrete structures.
