Scope

This document specifies the standard for measuring the airborne noise level of hydraulic pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps) operating under steady-state conditions.
This document is applicable to measuring the A-weighted sound power level of pumps and the sound power level of pumps in the frequency band (with a center frequency of 125 Hz to 8000 Hz).
This document is applicable to all types and specifications of pumps, except for those subject to specification limitations due to testing environments.
