Scope

This standard specifies the structure, classification, and models of IoT water meters, as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to drinking cold water meters and hot water meters that use 2G, 3G, 4G, NBIoT, eMTC, and other cellular mobile communication technologies and their subsequent evolutionary technologies, access the public land mobile network in China, and comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 778.1, GB/T 778.2, and GB/T 778.4.
