Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, structure, marking, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of socket-and-spigot pipe joints (hereinafter referred to as "pipe joints") used in building piping projects.
This standard applies to pipe joints for aluminum-plastic composite pipes and plastic piping systems with a nominal size of 40 mm to 75 mm.
