Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency measurement requirements, measurement testing procedures, measurement testing methods, evaluation criteria for measurement test results, and test reports for range hoods (hereinafter referred to as range hoods) installed on household cooking stoves, cookers, or similar appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
This standard applies to the supervision and testing of the energy efficiency of range hoods. Testing can be conducted in accordance with this standard. Units that produce and sell range hoods can also conduct testing in accordance with this standard.
The range hoods subject to testing should be products that have passed the manufacturer's self-inspection or goods imported and sold by the seller.
