GB/T 18691.4-2011 Agricultural irrigation equipment—Irrigation valves—Part 4:Air valves
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18691 specifies the design requirements, performance requirements, consistency assessment, marking, and packaging of intake and exhaust valves.
This part is applicable to irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 60 °C and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture.
This part is applicable to hydraulically driven irrigation intake and exhaust valves with a nominal size of not less than DN 15. These valves either operate by applying force to the opening and closing elements directly through a float, or by applying force to the opening and closing elements through a mechanical control rod via a float. These valves can also operate by applying force through an adjustable pilot valve.
