Scope

This standard specifies the specifications, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of crimped carbon steel connection pipes and fittings (hereinafter referred to as steel pipes and fittings).
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of non-potable cold and hot water, fire-fighting water supply, drainage, air conditioning water, gas, heating, compressed air, and wiring pipes with a nominal size not exceeding 100 mm and a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa.
