Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, and transportation for frozen surimi products.
This standard applies to surimi products made primarily from frozen surimi, fish, shrimp, cuttlefish, and shellfish, and stored and distributed under temperatures not exceeding -18°C, including frozen fish balls, fish cakes, shrimp balls, shrimp patties, cuttlefish balls, cuttlefish patties, shellfish balls, imitation scallop columns, and imitation crab meat, etc.
