Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product codes, product specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass fiber stitched fabrics (hereinafter referred to as stitched fabrics).
This standard applies to glass fiber stitched felts, multi-axial stitched fabrics, and stitched composite fabrics made from glass fiber as the main raw material through coil stitching. These fabrics are mainly used as reinforcement materials for fiber-reinforced plastics, such as for making fan blades, boats, sports equipment, storage tanks, pipelines, etc.
